The St Vincent de Paul Society in Australia has more than 60,000 members and volunteers, who work hard to assist people in need and combat social injustice across Australia. Internationally, the Society operates in 140 countries and has over 800,000 members.
The local St Vincent de Paul Conferences at St Williams, Grovely and Our Lady of Dolours, Mitchelton, rely on donations from Parishioners and others to support those in need in our local community. In this regard, the Conferences acknowledge with gratitude the generosity of many people Parishioners, our Parish schools and others who support us in our social justice work.
CURRENTLY SEEKING DONATIONS for toiletries such as toothpaste, toilet paper, soap, shampoo or deodorant. There will be baskets located in the church at Grovely, Mitchelton and Samford on an ongoing basis in which you can place such donations.

The Grovely Conference of the St. Vincent De Paul Society was established in 1951 to service the local communities of: Arana Hills, Keperra, Ferny Grove, Everton Hills, Ferny Hills, Mt Nebo, Mt Glorious, Wrights Mountain, Samford, Bunya, Upper Kedron, parts of Mitchelton and McDowell.
