The Alpha program is an opportunity for our youth to explore life and the Christian faith. To ask questions, and share points of view in an open, friendly environment. Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith, typically run over eleven weeks. Each talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation.
Alpha is run all around the globe and this year we will start it at Mt Maria College – every Friday fortnight 3.00pm – 4.30pm in MK04 starting 3 May 2019.
If you would like to be part of this group, please register with the parish office on 07 3355 2667.

If you are between the age of 12-17 years you are invited to attend. There will be food, drinks, a video segment, games and conversations. The conversations will explore the big issues around faith and unpack the basics of Christianity, addressing questions from Life-Is this it? And How can we have faith? To Why and how do I pray? and How does God guide us? Probably the most important part of any Alpha: the chance to share thoughts and ideas on the topic, and simply discuss it in a small group. There’s no obligation to say anything and there’s nothing you can’t say. It’s an opportunity to hear from others and contribute your own perspective in an honest, friendly and open environment.
